    Goddard House Assisted Living in Brookline,MA is seeking a Dance/Movement Therapist to facilitate 2 back to back groups in their memory support community. At this time the groups meet on Friday afternoons from 1-3, 2-3 PM. They would like to keep that day/time, but are open to Saturdays.     Responsibilities:

    Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy and supportive counseling to clients.

     Provide comprehensive assessment of all clients on caseload.

    Conduct treatment planning for all clients on caseload.

    Provide crisis intervention for all clients on caseload.

    Provide psycho-education to clients.

    Conduct outreach to clients in order to ensure their attendance at appointments.

    Complete all appropriate documentation for each client on caseload.

    Collaborate with other service providers to bring services to clients.

    Actively participate in supervision, clinical case conferences and educational seminars.

    Actively participate in professional development activities.

     Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    LMSW, LCSW or LCAT.

     Ability to work independently at a satellite clinic (or at a host site).

     Excellent computer skills.

     Excellent organizational ability and interpersonal skills.

     Bilingual (English/Spanish).

    This is a supplemental dance movement therapy position for a registered or board certified dance movement therapist. This position will receive supervision from the Riley Cheer Guild and Music Therapy Director and will collaborate with art and music therapists to enhance holistic patient well-being. Funded by the Andrea Rizzo Foundation, this position will provide pediatric clinical services at Riley Hospital for Children through Dre's Dream Pediatric Dance Therapy Program.

    Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Requires Master's Degree.
    • Requires 1-3 Years of Experience in Dance/Movement Therapy.
    • Requires R-DMT or BC-DMT.
    • Requires practical knowledge of dance/movement therapy principles, concepts, and methodologies, along with their uses in the assessment of patients' total well-being.
    • Requires the ability to provide clinical consultation, including the ability to evaluate and document patient progress in the hospital charting system.

    George Washington University Hospital- PRN Dance/Movement Therapist

    Expressive Therapist provides patient care for an assigned group of patients according to an established schedule and plan of care and as competency documentation designates under the direction and supervision of a licensed psychologist. Works on therapy team with Licensed Psychologist, LGPC Art Therapist, and LGPC Activity Therapist. Team and environment supportive of Dance/Movement Therapy.

    Compensation

    • aprox. $27 per hour 
    • Future possibilities to progress to part time or full time with health and PTO benefits.
    Requirements 
    • R-DMT
    • MA

    Education/Qualification 
      • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other mental health field 
      • One year or more of group counseling/therapy experience with adults 
      • Must be able to assist in the physical restraint of disturbed patients utilizing Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) model 
      • Verbal De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire 
      • Current certification of Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals (BLS) 
    Skills 
    • Demonstrated ability to work with people who have a chronic mental illness, psychosis, severe depression and/or substance abuse 
    • Demonstrated a bility to interact with people who are under physical and/or emotional stress and to remain calm when under stress or in emergency situations 
    • Ability to work in a team setting and in group situations

    Penn Medicine Princeton Health is currently searching for a Part TimeDays, Senior Allied Clinical Therapist for Princeton House Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility located in Princeton, New Jersey. 

    Position Summary: The Senior Allied Clinical Therapist will originate, plan, and administer high quality Allied Clinical Therapy to individuals and groups. Allied Clinical Therapy will include but is not limited to group counseling, creative arts therapy, psycho-educational and therapeutic activities. The Senior Allied Clinical Therapist will also assess patient functioning and needs. They will provide senior level clinical expertise, feedback and training to the department and treatment team. The Senior Allied Clinical Therapist will actively recruit and supervise student interns and volunteers.  

    Qualifications:

    All Princeton Health employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless granted a medical or religious exemption.

    Required:

    One of the Following Degrees:

    • Art Therapy – Master’s degree and ATR-BC

    Del Amo Hospital in Torrance, CA (Southern CA) is looking for per diem Adjunctive therapists (including dance/movement therapists). It is an inpatient, short term psychiatric facility with 4 adult units, 1 children's, and 1 youth/teens. This is a great place to gain experience with a wide range of diagnoses. 

    Job responsibilities include:

    -Facilitating 2-3 groups per day.

    -Writing group notes.

    -Conducting assessments on new patients.

    -Attending treatment team meetings.

    ~$25/hr
